Born and raised in Chernihiv, Ukraine, Daryna Kulich has always been driven by passion, resilience, and a dream to pursue a career in the performing arts. From a young age, she found herself drawn to movement and expression, a path that began with a highly disciplined athletic career. As a rhythmic gymnast and pole dancer on Chernihiv’s regional and Ukrainian national teams, Daryna developed a deep connection to performance and later earned international recognition with a third-place finish at the Pole Sport World Championship in Italy.

At sixteen, she took a bold step—leaving her hometown and family behind to move to the United States, in pursuit of new opportunities. Alone in a new country, Daryna embraced the challenges of independence with determination, reminding herself to keep going and never let go of the dream she carried since childhood.

Now based in Los Angeles, Daryna is blossoming as a multidisciplinary artist. She got her BFA in Dance Theatre at AMDA while building a vibrant career as a dancer, actress, and model. Her performances have included music videos for prominent artists, a national campaign for Disney and LEGO, and a featured role in a BuzzFeed production. She also made her film debut as an actress and continues to expand her creative footprint.

Daryna brings a piece of Ukraine into everything she does. Her deep love for Ukrainian culture, traditions, and community is the driving force behind her upcoming show spotlighting the Ukrainian diaspora in Los Angeles. With a bright spirit, magnetic stage presence, and a heart full of pride for her heritage, Daryna is on a mission to uplift voices, share stories, and celebrate the beauty of her homeland with the world.
